Fashion is not only clothes

Sure, you may be wearing the cutest outfit ever, but do you really look good? Just because you have the best clothes doesn't always mean you have the best fashion sense. So here are some things that are always fashionable and you can wear whenever you want.

1. Names: Your name will be with you for the rest of your life. Take a look at my name, Roxi. With someone with that name, they need to WORK IT!!! You can't be shy with stuff like that. Strut your clothes and your name. Knowing that makes you feel awesome!!!

2. Attitude: Picture this: In school, the most popular and fashionable girl is walking down the hall with the best outfit EVER on. But everyone knows she's a jerk. Do you think people notice her outfits or her attitude more??? This sounds dumb but attitude really is everything. If this girl was, say, nice to everyone in school, she would get compliments from random people instead of the glares she was receiving before.

Uh-oh!!! Did you forget to purchase a present for your girlfriends?! And you've already run out of money spending that last dollar on that fab scarf for your mom? What will you do???

Geek Chic this Week!!!!

Ok, so most of you don't know that i am ADDICTED to everything super mario bros. related lately, and i have googled mario merchandise like a million times. so this week im gonna tell you some accessories you can add to have a geeky, cheeky, chicy(is that even a word?) wardrobe.

1. Ties: I know what you're thinking. Why would i wear a tie? Well, menswear is very in right now, and ties are a delightful twist on this trend. go for it!!!

2. Belt Buckles: I am addicted to these!! i don't have any, but i think that they are sooooo cool!! they were originally used in the old west. But many companies have done a modern, geeky twist on these. From everything to football team logos to super mario bros mushrooms, belt buckles come in all sorts of varieties.

3. Reading Glasses: Many of you may have glasses, and you may hate them. But even if you don't wear any glasses at all(like yours truly) you may be wanting them!!! many women these days are starting to wear reading glasses as a fashion staple. Bonus points for helping your eyesight.

4. Rainboots: Many people think that if you are over the age of 5 you shouldn't be wearing rainboots. Those people have no idea what they are missing out on. Rainboots are the cutest!! i have been looking for a decent pair myself, but most are too expensive for my budget. If i ever find any, i'll send you guys the link.

Try new things!

Ok, so recently i just got my hair cut. A Lot. My hair has pretty much been the same my whole life: long blonde hair with a bit of layering. But now i cut maybe 4 to 5 inches off and got small side bangs!!!!!! I was a little bit scared at first, but it all worked out fine!!
I just wanted to tell you guys that fashion is a job of risk-taking. Do something out of the norm. People WILL appreciate it!!! if you're short of ideas, look at everyday fashion risk takers, like Rihanna. Tchsau! %)

Italy

I've been to rome myself, and it is beautiful. That's why italy became one of my fav countries. The fashion is awesome there. So here are some hip things that are pure Italiano!!

1. Reflecting aviator glasses
2. silk scarves
3. anything leather, mostly gloves and motorcycle jackets.
4. handbags loaded with hardware
5. chunky necklaces

makeup essentials

okay guys. I'm finally going back to my blog. anyway, we all have makeup essentials that we love. Some of our friends can identify you just by your makeup. so here are some of my signature makeup essentials.

1. blue mascara- i hang out at sephora a lot, and i found the best blue mascara by urban decay. it was, unfortunately, 20$. but after a long while of hunting for cheaper mascara i finally found a drugstore brand.

2. eyeshadow- most of the time i don't wear eyeshadow, but i have 2 pallettes that i absolutely adore. There's my neutral pallete, of champagne shimmers and a beautiful brown, and for the weekend, i have an extremely colorful pallete. it has green, gold, blue, purple, and white!

3. lip gloss- ok, so i know its a no-brainer, but i go through tubes and tubes of lip gloss every year. my fav brand is Kiehl's. its an awesome brand. Each gloss contains SPF 15, and there all different kinds. There is just a plain kind, but there is also tinted ones.(there are even flavored varieties!) check it out!

just finished a boatload of homework. in science we're supposed to make a cell model that isn't a cell. So guess what i chose?! An outfit!!! just finished editing the rough draft. It was pretty hard but i think i got it. hopefully i get an A!!!

Trends

Just wanted to tell you guys about some new trends that will be BIG this season. Thigh-high boots are back in. I don't really care for them, they make you look a little slutty, but if you want to buy your own, buy some of nice quality because these go in and out often, so it's good to have some on hand. Sharp-shouldered blazers are also in and i love them!!! It makes the outfit so much more crisp. Look some up on google or instyle. Here's some pics

New Website!!!

I found yet another awesome website!!! I'm in the Go Green Club at my school and I found a website called www.alphabetbags.com , and it has lots of recycled cotton totes with awesome sayings on them. My fav is "dance like no one is watching." They're wicked cheap too. take a look!!! %)

New Ideas coming

I'm gonna try to take my camera everywhere I go so I can start my new idea. I was thinking that I could sit somewhere busy and wait for people with good outfits to come by. I could take their photo and put it on my blog!!!!!! Then we can comment if it's a do or a don't. Feedback would be awesome guys.

10 things NEVER to buy

To kick off the release of my blog, I'm gonna present you guys a list of things no one should ever buy!!!!!!!

1. Maxi Dresses- don't even get me started!!! these things make you look like one giant tube. And when you're petite, it's even worse.

2. Bandeau Bathing Suits- You see a lot of people wearing these, but few can pull them off. It looks like the top is gonna fall off at any moment.

3. Tube Tops- Only buy these when you are certain you are gonna layer them with tanks and such. Worn alone, you look trampy.

4. Rompers- For those of you who don't know what these are, they are jumpsuits that use shorts and tank tops instead of long pants. Just. Plain. Ugly.

5. Mom Jeans- Do I really have to explain the reason these are on the list?

6. Overalls- Only wear them when you are under 7 years old.

hmmm....that's only six. I'll think of more later. oh well. %)
